The black cabinet comes with silver trimmed see-through, tempered glass door that has a silver bar handle accross the middle with the temperature control buttons (temp up and temp down), the interior LED light switch, and digital display integrated in it. You can set temperature within the range of 44 °F - 66 °F.

The blue background digital display turns on whenever you press a control button and turns off automatically after 1 minute of pressing the last button so it doesn't show the temperature all the time.

According to the manufacturer the refrigerator can cool to 25 degrees cooler than the ambient temperature. The air intake at the back is equipped with a washable air filter.

By the way due to the venting is at the back you cannot place it flush back to a wall, you have to place the unit freestanding on the countertop or on a table with enough clearance ( min. 5") around the sides, and at the back. Use the adjustable legs to level the the cooler.

As a countertop model the Emerson 8 bottle wine cooler has odd dimensions (L: 20.7", W: 16.2", H: 10.9") that might not make it fit on some some kitchen counters.

Some users say that the digital temperature doesn't show the real temperature but 6-7 degrees lower than the actual interior temperature. To cool your wine to a desired temperature set the cooler a few degrees lower.

This thermoelectric wine refrigerator comes in 3 different decors:

The electronic temperature control and the digital temperature display make setting and monitoring of temperature easy (temperature range is 39 °F - 72 °F).

You can store and cool 12 bottles on 3 wire racks. Double pane, insulated glass door displays nicely the wines.

Some reviewers stated that this particular Haier wine fridge cools only to 59 °F which is sufficient if you want to store only red wines. For the coolest temperature set the cooler to the lower temperature range for white wines.

Also note that you must place a thermoelectric wine cooler in a room where the tempearture is no more than 72 - 77 °F (22 - 25 °C) to be able to generate real cool air inside the unit. Although thermoelectric wine coolers have their advantages of silent and vibration-free operation, their cooling efficiency is lower than that of compressor-run fridges'.
